Quick Overview
The app processes only the data necessary for the alarm function and uses iOS system features (e.g. notifications). No profiling takes place.
Processing When Using the App
Scheduled alarms are managed locally on your device. For push notifications, the app uses iOS notifications. Webhooks are sent only on your request to URLs you have configured.
Permissions
Notifications and Critical Alerts are required for functionality. You can adjust these permissions in iOS Settings. If you deny Critical Alerts, alarms may remain silent in Focus modes.
Logs & Server Communication
For webhooks, HTTP requests are sent to the endpoints you specify (content: alarm metadata). Apart from this, the app does not perform any server-side logging.
Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Optional Pro features are available via auto-renewable subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple Inc. via the App Store. Swift Alarm does not have access to payment information.
Subscription management (including cancellation) is done through iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Apple's Privacy Policy applies to payment data: apple.com/legal/privacy
Legal Bases
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — alarm functions.
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — notifications and critical alerts (revocable under Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Recipients & Processors
Where external services are used (e.g. webhook targets you choose), their privacy notices apply. No transfer to other third parties takes place.
Retention Period
Alarms remain stored locally until you delete them. System notifications are managed by iOS.
Your Rights
You have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
